Management Staff The administration and management of the Children's Village of Arizona will be provided by a management team consisting of the Executive Director, the Development Director, the Chief Financial Officer, the Human Resource Director and the Program Director.

  • Executive Director
    Under the general supervision of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director administers the corporation and its operations in providing group home services for children who are wards of the Maricopa County Superior Court. Works with the Board of Directors in setting goals and objectives for the corporation. Is responsible for developing and maintaining a philosophically sound and healthy financial organization that carriers out the purpose of the agency and achieves the goals set by the Board of Directors. Establishes and maintains relationships with other relevant agencies.
  • Development Director
    Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Development Director plans, develops, and maintains a comprehensive private and public sector fundraising program on behalf of the agency and to enhance the mission and vision established by the Board of Directors. The Development Director establishes and maintains good working relationships with the community and funding sources and staff and coordinates the implementation of a comprehensive operating campaign and special event activities that seek support from corporations, foundations, individuals, and other sources.
  • Chief Financial Officer
    Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Chief Financial Officer is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the agency in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal and state regulations, and the Directives of the Board of Directors.
  • Human Resources Director
    Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Human Resources Director is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, administration, and budgeting of the employee / labor relations functions for the agency.
  • Program Director
    Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Program Director is responsible for assuring the overall quality delivery of group home services according to national standards of practice. This position is given overall responsibility for the development and implementation of a Continuous Quality Improvement environment which seeks to evaluate, problem solve, and achieve agreed-upon outcomes across the entire agency operation. The Program Director implements, monitors, and evaluates all agency programs and recommends changes in the areas of outreach, recruitment, intake, eligibility, determination, assessment, training, follow-up, and client documentation.

Support Staff will include:

  • Volunteer Coordinator – Volunteer Position
    Under the general supervision of the Development Director, the Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of structured volunteer opportunities for the agency. This position develops the Volunteer Program and supervises all volunteers and volunteer functions and assures compliance with the mission, vision, and objectives of the agency.
  • Social Worker / Case Manager
    Under the general supervision of the Program Director, the Social Worker is responsible for the development, monitoring and implementation of the case plan. The Social Worker serves as the liaison with the referring agency as well as with any providers of services.
  • Groundskeeper / Maintenance Support
    Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Groundskeepers and Maintenance Support personnel are responsible for the up keep and maintenance of the grounds and the facilities.

House Staff

  • Children's Village of Arizona Parents
    Under the direction of the Program Director, the Children's Village of Arizona Parents are responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the home including supervision of the youth, assistance to the youth in educational activities and personal growth opportunities, and assignment of household chores for the youth. The Children's Village of Arizona Parents are responsible for the management of the home's budget including purchasing necessary goods and services.
  • Children's Village of Arizona Associate Parents
    Each Children's Village of Arizona Parent has available to them an Associate Parent on a part-time basis. Associate Parents are responsible for providing support to the Children's Village of Arizona Parent in those activities that contribute to the overall functioning of the home such as providing transportation for youth to community events, assisting with housekeeping, meals, and providing respite for the Children's Village of Arizona Parent.
